We are pleased to announce we will be hosting an open day to view our herd on the 17th of September 2011 on the farm from 11 am to 4 pm.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see our 2010 and 2011 calves sired by Dorepoll 1 73 J Jonathan, Dorepoll 1 93 N Nationwide, Dorepoll 1 93N Transatlantic and Remitall Shiraz.

Our current herd sires will be on view, Dorepoll 1 73 J Jonathan and Dorepoll 1 499 Grenadier.

Our cow herd is dominated by 4 cow families. The Duchess family has produced many outstanding progeny at work throughout the UK and Ireland, notably Dorepoll 1 73J Emperor, National Poll show Champion 2010, Dorepoll 1 R52 Duchess 525, female champion at Tullamore show 2010 and 2011. Tha Ravette family recently produced Dorepoll 1 73J Einstein who has won three interbreed titles in Scotland this year for JA Cameron and Sons. The Tessa family produced the most important sire we have probably ever used, Dorepoll 1 10H Headliner, whom we have exported semen from, throughout europe.

This will be a unique opportunity to see the herd that exists beyond the show ring and see what a modern, commercially managed Hereford herd looks like!
